They wear the newest trends, the latest styles and colors, and are up-to-date with the latest makeup and hair styles. But some of Hollywood’s stars prefer to keep their own fashion alive and well, even when the rest of the world looks at them strangely. Here are some of the shocking fashion trends that has been seen in Hollywood this year.
Several stars, including Pamela Anderson, Jodie, and Halle Berry, were seen around Hollywood in nothing more than a clad bikini top, if that. In some cases, like on Anderson, there was barely any top at all. These stars combined their some-what bikini top with bikini underwear, a belt that covered just enough of the right place, and, in Berry’s case, a stylish pair of matching pants.
In place of a miniskirt, BaiLing was seen in a tutu. She topped it off with a fur crop top and strappy high-heeled sandals. This is not a look one saw regularly in Hollywood last summer.
Transparent fashions were also a big hit in 2010. From lacy see-through tops, to sheer fabrics, to netting, many Hollywood stars found a way to show off their skin last summer. While some opted to wear something underneath, others opted to let the lacey pattern cover them up.
Shoes were one of the strangest accessories seen around Hollywood this year. From knee-length boots, to strange-looking heals, to indescribable-looking shoes, Hollywood stars took “strange” to a whole new level.
The winner of the shocking outfits of the year award should go to Lady Gaga. Not once has she been seen wearing anything most people would call “normal.” Lady Gaga has a look all her own, which is one of the things that makes her so popular, and stand out in a crowd. She has a mix of crazy styles and colors, strange costumes, and odd accessories.
One thing’s for sure: nobody can say that Hollywood’s boring.
