Fashion trends change from season to season and year to year. Not only do the styles change, but the colors too. For the winter 2010-2011 season, there are not many restrictions when it comes to color in fashion. The latest colors in fashion come from a mix of inspiration, including nature, bohemian accents, urban warrior, and a touch of classic style.
With this abundance of inspiration, the latest color palette varies greatly from light neutral shades to rich vibrant tones allowing for a varied collection to choose from. Lighter shades come in a range from beige and white, then deepen to darker shades of charcoal, grey, and black, then deepen to even richer colors including dark reds, blues, and purples.
Even with this wide array of colors, there are some that stand out more than others, including bright red, camel, deep purple, and khaki. A good mix of these colors, and slightly different tones of them, will give fashionistas a great winter wardrobe that will see them all the way through to spring. They may want to stack up on several different outfits in these shades, including pants, skirts, tops, holiday dresses, shoes, and accessories. Some great combinations of these colors include mixing khaki with any of the brighter tones, reds and purples, mixing camel with the deeper tones, even a full outfit in either khaki or camel. If that’s too boring for some, they can always add a splash of one of the brighter colors, either with a scarf, a belt, or some other accessory.
These latest colors can be found in a multitude of today’s fashions, including stretch pants, long coats and jackets, miniskirts, tights, and a variety of shoes. They can be found in popular accessories including bags, scarves, belts, and jewelry. Buyers can purchase a few that will go with some of the other items they already have in their wardrobe that will update it to match this season’s color trends.
